Stalled Avalanche

I was driving down the street when my 2001 Red Avalanche stalled. It was right outside of my Girlfriend's house! She looked out of her window and saw me trying to restart it and laughed! We cant go on any dates until I learn and fix my car! HELP!!!

I Finally got it towed. The engine costs more to replace than to buy a used car. i bought a used tahoe about 6 weeks ago.
