Are you refering to the drum itself? Did you replace the shoes? Is it the shoes that are interfering? If so you need to adjust them so that they are closer together and thus not touching the drums.

Yes you may have to use the adjustment screw or wheel some people call it. Oh and also make sure your emergency brake is not on. I have done this many of times...
