Angry Loyale problem

Does anyone have any suggestion on how to fix the following problem with my 1994 Subaru Loyale?

When I run the A/C the engine will overheat. If I have the A/C turned off on a warm day, the engine won't overheat, but it will run hotter than normal.

What do you all think?

I had a very, very similar car. The AC hadn't worked in many years, but the car did run hotter than usual and I was unable to keep up more than 65 on the freeway for fear of cooking the engine.

I replaced the radiator - the Loyale's becomes clogged easily. Radiators for the Loyale are pretty inexpensive from aftermarket manufacturers, and I installed mine in a couple of hours. I'd also recommend flushing out the entire cooling system - I just used a garden hose. You wouldn't believe the crap that comes out.

Anyway, a new radiator should solve the problem for you.

I have had my Loyale for about 3 months and so far so good as far as the AC goes. Its gets very hot where I live here in the summer so I will find out one way or the other. Mine is a three gear auto so it revs up pretty high while on the freeway and that wont help matters much. How about you auto matic seatbelts? Mine just stopped working last week. All I hear is the right relay clicking every 30 seconds or so and the seatbelt light on the dash keeps blinking. Any thoughts would be greatly apriciated.
