Does anyone know if the radio/CD player that came standard with the 2000 Silverado can play mp3 discs ?

Those cheap buggers. I wonder if newer GM Vehicles can play MP3s yet??? I just bought one of these

Should allow me to play mp3s from my memory stick, mp3 player, Palm pilot, or Laptop. I'll let you know if it's any good once it arrives. I can't see why it wouldn't be...
