Mazda 6 vs Honda Accord vs Toyota

I am considering to buy one of the following
Mazda 6 i model V4 [Price 18500]
Honda Accord LX V 4 [Price 2000]
Toyota Camry LE [Price 20500]

A) I do get discount on Mazda 6 because of my brother. How do these cars are compared to each other?

B) I read that Mazda 6 has EBD [Electronic Brake distribution] and TCS [Traction Control system]. Most other cars like Honda Accord and Toyota Camrey does not have these features. Does these features help?

C) Do I need to do OR know something special to use EBD [Electronic Brake distribution] and TCS [Traction Control system]?

Any tips??

Thank you

Sana

The Mazda 6 is the sportiest of the bunch. TCS and EBD do indeed help the average driver. You don't need to do anything for them to go into effect. They will automatically work for you. Since you are getting a discount on the Mazda 6, I'd definitely go for that one. The ride may be a bit firmer than the other two, and there is a little less space in the back, but the handling is very good, and the acceleration is very adequate.

As far as electronic brake distribution and traction control goes there is nothing that you, being the driver, has to do to make them work its generally done for you through the cars variuos electronics and sensors. Some cars allow you to turn the traction control off, although I do not know if Mazda allowsw you to do this. As far as the cars themselves just go check them out at a dealership, getting into the car and test driving it yourself will be better than someone telling you how they think the car is. good luck

first of all, none of those cars have "V4" engines, they have Inline 4 cylinders. The Mazda 6 is the best of those 3 cars, the only thing that the other 2 have on it is a little more back seat and trunk room.

Do NOT get a Camry if it's a 4 cylinder, same with the Accord, get either the V6 or the TSX. both cars were designed as big 6 cylinder cars, whereas the Mazda6 was designed as a medium sized four cylinder car from the start.

Oh and it's also better in every conceivable way than the others.

Re: Mazda 6 vs Honda Accord vs Toyota

The newer four-cylinder Camrys and Accords are acceptable, in my opinion. 160 hp and 160 ft-lbs may not be enough for spirited acceleration, but it's enough to get a 3300 pound car around town adequately. If you like to drive at all, though, go with the V6. The Mazda 6 is different, though. It feels just fine with its four-cylinder engine. The engine likes to rev, the chassis is more willing than the others, and the manual transmission is a joy to use.
