i wanna sporty car, non-honda, and kinda roomy

i cant figure out what to get for my next car, i dont want to get anything honda or acura cos the lowend rpms just arent torquey enough. my dream car would be a 240sx but right now i cant have a teenie backseat. is there any kind of car thats comparable to the 240sx in handling (rwd is a must!) is reliable and hopefully not killer to maintain, and i would like to get a 4door model or a coupe with decent backseat room.

Id'e say the WRX. Its diffenently not drifting material but it does have a roomy backseat and its AWD. Im sure its an good choice for a rally car to but I really don't know much about rally. If you decide drifting isnt your thing than go for it.

an old rx7 would be perfect. many people raly them and they definetly have the torque for drifting. and there are plenty of parts available forthem. another would be an older bmw 2000 (i think that is what it is called). you willbe very hard pressed to find a newer car with rwd and 4 doors. (oh yeah, the rx7s are 2+2s)

Well I have a 91' Subaru Legacy Turbo, which is must sportier than a Honda has plenty of room and is AWD. The only problem is that they are kinda rare, but I've seen plenty for sale lately theyre relatively cheap about $4k and with an extra few hundred bucks you can get yourself an intercooler and boost controller/gauge. Even without those though it has plenty of power and loads of low end torque, 180 ft/lb @ 2600. This is Subaru's old rally car so it's good for that and is ok for drifting.

if you wanna blow the money you can pick up a lexus is300..
rwd, and plenty of room
i'm 6'0" and i can put the driver seat all the way back and then sit behind it and have enough room which is nice in a little car..
and it's got 215hp.. and it drives nice, now that they have a stick available.. so if you've got crazy $$$ then drift away.. just turn the traction control off..

It would be kinda scary drifting such an expensive car though.
