Question Accent problems

I replaced timeing belt and had some valves replaced in head.Put it all back together and ran good tell it warmed up.Check engine light came and car started to run rough. When you acceleration the engine light flashes and car dies. And how do you adjust timeing. There is no destributer to turn.

Re: Accent problems

you say the light flashes ? that means that catalst damage is occuring (misfire)you sure you put belt on correctly ? did you roll the belt around twice and recheck your timing marks? is this the one where their is a hole in the cam gear and some red ink behind it? anyways some things to check for you ...........let me rub my crystal ball and see your problem... sohc motor right ....did they replace the valve guides in the suspected cylinders because thats what goes wrong with that motor.
