1999 F-350 w/ V-10 engine -comments???

I have a opportunity to buy a 99 F-350 w/ Triton V-10 engine w/ 123,325 miles on it. I know zip about the V-10's. Is that a lot of miles for them? Most people have told me they go way beyond that. I will be towing a 14 ft trailer and a tractor(1500# or more). Are the V-10's reliable? What kind of mileage do they get? I have a 95 150 with 106,000 miles and think, do I want to trade for a truck with more miles??
Any comments????
Thanks!

The V-10 is certainly a reliable engine, but if you ask about it's fuel economy, it is NOT right for you. They get about the same as a 460 would in a similar vehicle 12-14 MPG, less if you are pulling heavy loads.

Would I trade? If you have a 300-6 NO WAY! 302/351, then yes as you power will be MUCH more, and your mileage similar.
