Everytime i disconnect the battery to do anyhting my deck stops working. Last time it went off and it came back on. This stime its still yet to come back on. Its a Sony Xplod deck form prob mid 90's anyone know why? The antenna doesnt even go up anymore....well not until the radio works again.

Have you tried to disconect the deck and plug it back in yet

Once i take off the dash trim I dont think i can get it out..but when i was trying to get something out of the dash it was the AC unit....but oh well. No the Antenna wont go up unless the FM or AM mode is on the Xplod deck. Because if you turn it to CD or Off the Antenna goes down.

well the that makes sense. why would the antenae be up if the radio isnt on?

It goes up whenever the head unit is on.

It will go up when the radio is on if it is wired wrong because the antenna wire is like a remote wire that puts the antenna up and down when u have it on am or fm

i say fuses, maybe a wire

try disconnecting the battery again, maybe a few times

or you could just hit it, j/k j/k
