Installing a 3/4 drop kit
I have a 3/4 drop kit that im about to install. i was wandering if i can keep my stock shocks or do i have to get lowering shocks? Anyone that could help me out?

3" isnt realy slammed or an extreme drop, although it is a long way, if your going to do it, and you have the factory shocks, buy some toxic shocks or equivilent for it, they are made for the lower vehicals, they are stiffer to avoid bottuming out... my

yeah im just doing a smaller drop for now. I do not have the time to bag it. I have no other mode of transportation to work or school so until im out of college i probably wont bag it. i just want to lower it a bit for the time being.

if the roads are there how they are here, i wouldnt suggest much more then a 4/5 drop anywayse, like you said, bags are awsome, then you can lift it up in those tight or questionable spots, but with something like a 6/6 your stuck a half a foot down reguardless of the potholes

DO NOT BUY TOXIC SHOCKS!!! They are by far the worst shocks ever made. Be wise and spend your money on a quality shock. Otherwise you'll regret it later. Edelbrock or Doeshtech or Bilstein are ones I'd recommend.

whats wrong with toxics? ive never had a problem with them, they tell you that you will get a stiff ride and that they dont last very long, but ive never had an issue with them

my reccomendation is to check around, ask local places what they would reccomend, and then find it online cheeper lol

They're the worst ride and far too many people have them blow out.
Look around on any custom truck sites and they will all say Toxic Shocks are among the worst.
