Re: going turbo

if you like autos then go for it. its totally personal preference but most people dont race with car that shifts for you. if you just want some extra go in the daily driver do it. 2 cents...

Re: going turbo

Personally, i wouldnt drop that kind of cash into a car that i wouldnt enjoy driving. But if you are fine with the auto, then do what you want with it.

Re: going turbo

can be done just read up on the upgrades for the auto tranny.

a higherstall TC would help and probbly be all needed for lower boost.

Re: going turbo

don't do it, do to one less gear in the transmition, the car will be significantly slower than a manual, with the easily $4000 you will have to throw in I would not recommend it. Also I would be worried about what that would do to the transmition. I feel that it would take a much larger toll on a auto then on a manual. Plus if you have a turbo you want to race, how many people at the track have auto. Just save your money.

Re: going turbo

its not ideal but i do see autos at the track you can still shift an automatic when you want just not as acurate as a manual. and if you really get into racing hard you can swap to a manual tranny. oh and a stock supra is actualy faster with an automatic (just saying that automatic doesnt=slower)
