Removing rear grills on a p10Xeon 07-14-2001, 11:09 PM I swear, this should be my last question, i pretty much have everything installed, except the rear speakers. How do you take the grills off in the back? Is the only way to remove the rear deck? (i already broke one of those plastic screw in pins covered in felt trying to, so i stopped) Its a 93 g20, and were gonna put some kappa 63.3i's in it (6.5 inch 3 way, external crossover). If you have even a relative idea of how to do this, please respond, even if you dont know exactly. drockg20 07-15-2001, 04:09 PM you have take out your whole back seat. then remove third brake light. then remove 3 felt screw in center or deck. then your rear deck pops out push up on it and it will come out. Glen 07-17-2001, 08:16 PM While you're at it, make sure you take out the C-pillar interior trim panels too. If you don't, when you are removing the rear deck, the tabs on the rear deck will scrape those panels. The C-pillar panels simply pop out with several careful tugs. endfro 08-02-2001, 03:58 PM Man, I remember having that problem in my first G20.. that sucked ass. What I did in my first one was just slammed a screwdriver below the grills and yanked. Oops. With my second G I learned from my mistakes, and took out the backseat, took out the brake light, etc. Its a bitch but its worth it for good sound. 95_G20_P10 11-16-2001, 08:06 PM have u installed those Infinity Kappa 3ways yet cause i just ordered them . i wanna know if they got good sound like they spaosed to???
