First guess would be fuel pressure. Change the fuel filter, if it helps but doesn't really fix it, time for a new pump, rough job on the Camaros.

Re: chevy 3.1 idles but wont rev up

Already installed fuel pump-filter-tps-iac-ignition module-coil--new plugs-wires-cap rotor-checked pickup coil with ohm meter (ok) tried another alt, fuel relay, computer no change.
It starts and idles great as soon as I give it gas it sputters it gets alittle better when warmed up. Unhook the alt. and I can rev it up slowly to alomst wide open. Waiting for a preasure gage to check fuel preasure again. There are no codes showing. Still running in open loop.
