Re: 1993 Classic Keyless Entry
Find wheer the master reciever is on the vehicle (usually around the inside or outside of the firewall) and find the wires coming out of it. The posistive is usually a thicker red one, and the negative a thicker black one. Follow the wires to see where they lead. If its an aftermarket/dealer installed unit, positive should go into an in line fuse close to the battery (check that), and then right to the positive terminal on the battery, or a junction box that near the battery. Negative should connect to a nearby piece of metal (body or chassis) Often times the ground wire gets heavily corroded at the neck of where it's connected, and breaks off. If it doesn't look broken, pull on it, and see of it breaks. Also with the ground, where the wire is screwed onto the metal, it can often lose its connection from lack of use. Try loosening then tightening the ground wire again, and see of that helps. Follow any other wires that come out of the unit to see if there are any possible breaks. Good luck
