Not sure whether to post this under Problem's thread or Performance... But ever since installing the AEM intake a friend got me, I've noticed that whenever I'm in stop and go rush hour traffic, the engine temp would rise one to two notches. If I don't turn on the AC / blow off hot air, the fan would start until it cools down to a respectable temp (assuming I've turned off the car). Well, when we were installing the AEM intake, the only way we could get the shroom to fit was installing it onto the stock pipe (he basically gave it to me after he got a K&N for his Honda CRV). Here's a picture to show what I mean.

*Ignore the ducktape and zipline, it was to keep the intake from rattling around*
I was wondering if this setup was fine (or can I not install this intake / have to put the stock intake system back in) cause most people I've asked say they don't experience the engine rise in rush hour traffic
Thanks for the help.
