Question

Will the intake and manifold from an 83 2.8 fit on an 87 2.8 The 83 has a carb and the 87 throttle body. Thanks for any help.

if it fits youll have to use carb. i believe throttlebody wont work on carb intake. i might be wrong though.

your right. The throttle body won't fit.
The carbs are a really funny shape and they made the manifold to match.

On the other hand if you decide to use the carb it would work out.
Although the carbs are a bad design so I wouldn't
advise it
