Remote Entry for 98 Jeep

I bought a spare keyless entry remote for my 98 Jeep Cherokee Classic. Wondering if anyone knows how to program it? I have search the web and cant find an answer.

if you look in the owners book it should say. i have a 96 and it goes over this issue
