Supra MKIV VS. Yamaha R6Solidus 05-24-2005, 05:40 PM Single Turbo Supra VS. Yamaha R6 Well, i think supra need to find something faster to race with in the future :) http://www.turboinduction.com/vids/supravsbike1.wmv curtis73 05-24-2005, 06:18 PM Oh please. That was the most pathetic rider I've seen. He gave up so much speed it was sickening. Did you watch his right hand? How about his riding position? Terrible rider. Super slow shifts, terrible riding position, poor throttle control, floppy jacket; all gave up tons of speed and acceleration. That's not to say the supra couldn't have still taken him, but that wasn't even a contest. The R6 rider was also shifting way too soon. He has a 16,000 rpm limiter that he should have used, but he was shifting at about 13,000. Like the video says, he might not have been trying to let him win, but he let him win by stupid riding. crrrazy 05-25-2005, 02:32 AM Ohh I LOve The Subra Very Very Fast And Cool Nice Video Man want a supra 05-25-2005, 03:11 PM No Traction from the supra... Supra is pushing 25-26 psi. It has no traction at 25-26 psi, oh please. Solidus 05-25-2005, 04:04 PM Im a supra fan myself (extreme :P ), anyway i have to admit that high tuned supras, like this one could easily spin in a rolling start. Ive seen supras spinning in 3rd gear. but its cool, not very effective tho :D If you find the "Psycho supra" video, i know the owner, that supra spins like hell. That is just too much... karll 05-25-2005, 06:22 PM mmm supra. yea i suppose the bike rider had bad riding habits, but it was still a good vid i suppose. Xtreme_098 05-25-2005, 09:48 PM Thats retarded. Carbon SLIP-ON exhaust, wtf? No traction? Learn to drive. Bike didn't let off, his eyes were about to pop out from the concentration he was exerting. It also wasn't 160 mph, it was like 120 (paused on speedometer). I got bored so I tried to make fun of it. :( curtis73 05-27-2005, 04:29 AM Bike didn't let off, his eyes were about to pop out from the concentration he was exerting. :( He didn't "let off" but did you see the pathetically huge amounts of time between shifts? I can shift faster than that in a semi. Ok, well not really, but that was terrible driving on the part of the biker. He also had a good extra 2 inches he could have layed down.
