Know nothing...need help...94 s10....stb4224 05-23-2005, 04:02 PM Im wondering if its at all possible to install 4 wheel drive into my 2 wheel s 10. Its a 94, auto if it matters. If it is possible how much would it cost? Also, its very slow with a 4 cylinder, how much would a bigger engine cost, and what else improves speed? Where is a good place to look for s 10 parts online? Im loaded with questions...any answers would be greatly appriciated. THanks rlith 05-23-2005, 10:30 PM Well, you would need the following 4x4 Frame Larger motor Y pipe ECM Harness Transmission Transfer case Drive shaft Rear Front diff Body harness exaust to the cat a few other odds and ends. Total cost will be about 6-7 thousand dollars. stb4224 05-23-2005, 11:04 PM Alright so no where near worth it, what about the speed thing.... rlith 05-23-2005, 11:08 PM turbo OverBoardProject 05-23-2005, 11:28 PM Too bad that you didn't live way closer to me. I just got a parts Blazer 4x4 that has an all good 2.8L drive train that I don't really want. Although you would have probably had to cut your box down to fit right. I bought it for the carb, rear bumper and I know someone that wants the tire mount. Plus I really should keep all the lights, and the rad as spares stb4224 05-24-2005, 07:20 AM turbo How do i do it, where do i get it, how much does it cost. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
