Tire problem?

I think I've seen this asked here before, but I'm not sure if it's the same problem. I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand AM GT, and whenever I'm going slower (probably 5-10 mph) and/or turning left, I hear a rubbery noise coming from my front driver's side tire. It will temporarily go away if I put air in the tire. I've had this checked a few times for possibly a slow leak in the tire but there wasn't one. Also, I just recently had to have my front brake pads replaced, and while that was done, my mechanic also rotated my tires. I still get that rubbery/squeaky noise even with a different tire there, and it's only coming from that one tire. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be? I'm getting really annoyed by this! Thanks!

Re: Tire problem?

1] What do U mean by rubbery noise? Can ya describe the sound better?

2] You say it only comes from that one tire, do U mean from that one side? E.G. Driver front only, Passenger rear only?

I thought I could only hear the noise when I was going slower, but I noticed today that I could hear it even when I was going around 20. Once I get above 20 it starts to go away. I hear it as I start to slow down, but I also hear it as I'm taking off from a stop sign when I'm not on the brakes, if that helps.

It's hard to describe the noise. It's almost like a rubbery/squeaky sound that you'd maybe hear if a tire was really low on air (if that even happens), but it's not low because I've checked this. I really wish I could describe this better, because it would probably help a lot more if I could actually explain it!

Yes, it only comes from the one side. The front driver side, to be more specific.
