Burn Hole In Drivers Seat!
I have recently purchased a used vehicle with velour bucket seats.
There is a burn hole in the driver's seat that is getting worse. I plugged it up tonight using a fabric repair kit. Hopefully, this will slow down the inevitable deterioration of the seat upholstery.
The good news is I have new replacement upholstery for the bucket seats that match my vehicle exactly. I am thinking about bringing this into an Auto Upholstery Shop.
Should I try and replace the seat upholstery myself or should I have a professional do the work? What are the typical costs to replace one seat cover on a velour bucket seat?
I realize I need to get some hog rings and possibly some type of stapling tool to do this job.
Thanks for any advice
