max tire size for 95 rodeo

I currently have 245/70/16s and I wanted to know if 265s would fit? Has anyone tried this and found that the tires rub when you turn? Thanks.

Re: max tire size for 95 rodeo

I couldn't tell you but if you go 255/65/16 they are within 1/2" dia of the 245s. Even if you go 255/70/16 they are close. I am going with the 65's very soon. The 265s would have to be 60/65s. I don't think they are that common. Look at tirerack.com for sizes. Bridgestone Alenza (sp?) HL seem to rate well.

I have been running Michelin LTX M/S 265/70R/16's on the stock rims on my 95.5 Rodeo 4WD for the last 150000 miles. No problems. The ride is great.

I've ran LT265/75 16's before without any kind of problems on a 97 V6
