Just wondering if anyone has a painted their side Molding on the X5. I have a silver X and dont prefer the black side molding on the door. It stick out like a sour thumb. Just wondering how much it would cost and if anyone has done this with pics. thanks

I have a silver X5 also and feel the same way about the black side molding. I don't know of anyone who has changed it, other than to add on a kit that looks like it covers the molding strip. I don't think I like that look either though.

Does anyone know if they are making changes to the X5 for 2003? Any spy pics, if so? I will probbaly be trading in my 2001 when the new ones come out in the fall and was curious.
