99 rs wont start

Its completely stock and in need of an oil change.. However the car wouldn't start all the time it would take a couple cranks until it would ignite. Well i was driving and it would just die on me. I know it not the battery because i still had all power and even tried jumping it which wouldnt do anything. The car just sits there and cranks but never starts.

Im guessing its the fuel filter hopefully?

(hope not the pump, but i dont know why the pump would go out so fast)

Re: 99 rs wont start

replace the fuel filter (have fun with that, it's a bitch, just giving you an early warning) and if that doesn't work, have the ecu checked.

Re: 99 rs wont start

to me it just seemed like it was a bitch to get the lines screwed back in. that and the location sucks. you basically ahve to take out the battery and washer fluid resirvor if you don't want to cut up your hands.
