Lightbulb Sidekick running rich

I see not to manu post here. But I have a 92 Sidekick that after you startit up it will run okay for about 2 minutes. Then it will stall and after that it is all you can do to get it started back. And when you do and keep it running the exhaust will glow red. I cannot get the check enigne to give me codes. I jump the wire under hood near battery, The check engine light just stays on. It has the 1.6 pfi . Got any ideas let me know.
