Unhappy Airbag light flickers, blower motor runs in wet weather

I purchased my 2000 F150 last June at the dealership & after about 2 weeks I noticed that when it rains I get clicking under the dash below the steering wheel. The airbag light flickers on & off with the engine stopped, & the blower motor runs with the key off & out of the ignition switch. I have also noticed when driving in the rain, my wipers will only work at whatever selected speed I originally set them at when I was in park. The wipers won't shut off or increase speed until I go into neutral while driving or when I'm in park again. I took my truck back to the dealer the 1st time and they said they replaced two relays where I was hearing the clicking under the dash. About a month later this started all over again, took it back to the dealer and after keeping the truck for the day they said they could not find the problem except that I had water getting in somewhere. They said until I found where the water was getting in they would not be able to help me.

I will post any fix I find in order to help others with this annoying problem.

I have a 2000 f-150 as well and just started to have the air bag light come on intermittently, when it does my blower motor does not work at all. it happened twice so far. Only thing I did was open the relay/fuse box cover(under the hood) and make sure the relays were all pushed in. they dont seem to make a nice click or feel totally engaged. hopefully this will not continue because it would suck to have no heat in the winter even on a temp basis. let me now if you find anything. check the nhtsa website too for recalls or bulletins etc

I have found that I have a water leak which is causing my problem. When it rains, I have noticed a small puddle of water that is right near my brake peddle. I have felt the wiring under the dash and it's all wet, so I do believe it is leaking from the windshield and will confirm this when I have the windshield taken out and re-sealed.
