1990 325i wont start/ has fire but no fuel pressur

My 90 model 325i wont crank. Replaced the fuel filter , air filter, and then checked the car for spark and it was definately sparking as it shocked the crap out of my hand. took the fuel line off behind the fuel filter and turned the key but no gas was pumping out of the line. Seems like it may be the pump. Any instructions on how to get at that ? do I have to drop the tank or is it an inline fuel pump? Also I want to check the fuel pump relay any idea where that is at? Am I heading in the right direction with this?

It could also be the fuelpump relay so check that first. It costs about 5 dollars I'd guess. I dont have a pic of where it is so it's best to call a bmw dealer.

If it's not the relay it probably is the fuelpump.
To get to that u lift out the rear seat and under there is a fuelpump maintenance lid. (This is something I haven't done myself so I'd call a dealer up about that to). I know that you don't have to remove the fueltank to do this.

have tried swapping out the relay, didn't do any good, Thanks for the advice about where to find the pump. Ive actually removed the old one now I just gotta go buy a new pump to put in it. Made things much easier not having to drop the gas tank.
