I've got a 1996 Nissan Sentra GXE and I want to make it fast. Where do I start. I dont know much about cars.

is it a manual? how fast are you thinking?

It's an Automatic Trans. I want it Fast enough to enjoy driving it because I can’t afford a new car. Fast enough to set it apart from the average Sentra.

buy a turbo, exhaust manifold, side mount intercooler
blowoff valve, piping, ect. used and a check valve boost controller, and a boost guage.
for like 300 bucks you can boost around 5 or 6 lbs safely and make around the HP of a 2003 SE-R
just be careful driving it because the blow off valve wont release pressure between shifts(it only blows when you let off the gas) so there may be reliability issues
oh yeah and you also will need to run 92 octane
