Windshield Wiper Replacement

I need to replace my windshield wipers and i was wondering what the lengths are. i know that there are the lengths in the book, but it seems that my passenger side wiper should be shorter than the driver side because the end doesnt even touch the windshield. i was wondering if i had to buy two different lengths. also if you could recommend a good brand. thanks much

Re: Windshield Wiper Replacement

Go to any parts store, look up your vehicle in their replacement wiper blades book, it will tell you what lengths to purchase. I always use Bosch replacement wipers; they hold up very well to Chicago winters and hot summer sun.

Has anyone tried those dual-wipers? I live in Florida, and I think my wipers lasted about a year in the hot sun down here, and they were Bosch. It rains like crazy where I am from and especially during this time of the year, so I was considering getting the dual-blade wipers. If anyone has tried these, or has an opinion on them please let me know!

Re: Windshield Wiper Replacement

Use a single blade, not the dual.

The duals will prematurely wear out your wiper motor.

It was not meant to push four wipers, only two.
