88 f150 revived after 3 years....ideas

i just picked up an 88 f150 .... it was put out to pasture 3 years ago and forgot about .... it was running when it was parked... i put a good battery on and it didnt turnover once and it started and idled great... before starting i checked the oil it looked good.. the truck has approximately 500,000 miles on it was driven 150 miles a day to work all its life.... still has original engine and standard trans. i got it from the orig owner who had it serviced regularly... the brakes and clutch are almost non existent im gonna bleed the systems that should fix that... my question is it has dual tanks the front one is empty the rear one is full.... should i go to the trouble of draining the tank ... or put some additive in and try to burn it... i even thought about filling the front tank running that while i switch to the rear tank for a while every week or so ..... any more ideas on what i should check before i start driving everyday. i plan on driving it to work only about 5 miles a day... it will have a good life now... it just needs a massive scrubbing down .. thanks!

soreback. i guess its up to you about drainin the tank or not, i have 88 150, when i bought mine the rear tank was not workin with a full tank of gas, that gas had to be in there about 5 years, im a flooring contractor and i travel everywhere , well i was workin late one night in the sticks, comin home i ran out of gas no other option but to syphon gas from one tank to the other i used about half a tank of that old gas and it ran fine there was no difference in how the truck ran. but its your choice,if you do use it put an additive in. i had no choice.
