i have oil spurting out from a braided hose near to the oil filter, it is about 6-8" long and has nuts at each end, i havent taken it off yet, could someone tell me what to get to replace it, i.e. what is this hose called/for.

To get the exact part, go to a Toyota parts counter with your VIN number and pick out the part from the schematic drawing they have for your engine. Then you will be sure you are getting the right part.
