MAF problems?? need much help

A while back, maybe a few months or so, i was disconnecting my maf sensor to put an intake system on my 3vz, and when i unplugged the wire, it threw a big spark, now my car wont start, (let it be known that my car was in exellent running condition before this happend), i tried to solve the problem by getting another maf from another 93 at the junkyard but it still wont start. it turns over, and everything inside the car works, including the headlights, ive checked all of my fuses and they are all fine. could the spark have damaged the wires coming from the sensor and thats why my car wont start?? is there any way to replace the wires? How about cost? any imput will be gratly appreciated
