No offense intended

For anyone reading this, I want you to know that there is NO offense intended to the people who come in here with older C/K trucks designated "Silverado," when I tell them they'd be better off in the C/K forum. I am not trying to offend anyone by telling them to go to the other forum, but the simple fact is that most of us '99 - up owners do not know enough about the older trucks to give theses people an educated response. You could liken it to someone with a Nissan going into the Honda forum asking questions. I asked Shortbus@AF if he would consider renaming the forum "'99 and up Silverado," so we could avoid any confusion in the future. I know there's a sticky that says "This forum is for 99 and NEWER Silverados," but I usually even skip the stickies when I begin to view a new forum. Anyway, sorry for being so long winded.

Re: No offense intended

Same here, I have referred a couple of guys to the C/K section. No offense intended. Renaming of the Silverado forum would be a great thing to do.

Re: No offense intended

perfect example right here:
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=403642

i think changing the name would be a great idea.....maybe if you click on silverado, then choose 88-98 or 99-05 or something
