I'm looking for a list of Ranger airbag codes, specificly a Code 23 on a 96' Ranger. It seems to me a lot of people are having problems not knowing what their code means, so any help would be appreciated.

O.K. News Break!

My code no longer illuminates, all seems back to normal. I'll tell my story....

I was driving, did my normal 'every 3 minute' scan of all the guages (to ensure nothing is blowing up, I work around airplanes, I'm used to looking at guages) and noticed my SRS airbag light was illuminated solid. My curiosity peaked, so at the next stoplight, I shut off my truck, and restarted it. I watched the SRS airbag light, and noted it flashed 2 times, then 3, then a long pause, and 2 times then 3, then stayed solid. So I figure it is/was a code 23 fault. After searching the internet and posting here, I went out to my truck, started it, and all was back to normal.
