Just had my second flex plate replaced. Anyone else?

The first one lasted about 35k miles, and I think I got about 25 out of this one.

Anyone have any ideas as to what's going on here? It's a 99 GTP, pretty much bone stock!

What's a flex plate? I never heard of this. I'm curious.

It mates the transmission to the engine, best I can tell. I guess that in manual transmissions, they call it a flywheel?

wafrederick Has more negative feedback than positive
Probally did not get the torque converter flush with the flex plate. It is really easy to do,start one of the torque converter bolts, put a the tip of a slotted screwdriver in the space between the flex plate and the torque converter bolt and pry it until it is flush what I mentioned.
