To clarify what smokey said. Jack up your car, take off your driver's side wheel. From there, remove the fender well plastic stuff (some bolts and a torx bit or two). From there, you'll see the side of your tranny, specifically this cover which is called the Valve Body Cover. Unbolt it (you may need to jack up the motor to get the bottom bolts, and the top ones are a huge bitch, too). Then, look at your new Solenoid, and find the thing that looks just like it towards the bottom of the valve body addembly. You'll have to splice in two wires for the new solenoid. Also, don't forget to replace the gasket.
