Why don't you just change the fluid? I don't trust stuff like that personally.
I agree. I don't think it will do anything good. Unless you didn't change the ATF for 10 years and you drive frantically, it may be useful. I have a 88 Camry just passed 190k, I only replaced ATF about every 3 years (longest one is 7 years), no flush, no clean up, etc., it never have any problem so far.
