Tahoe shocks

How easy or hard is it to replace the factory shocks. The haynes manual makes it seem like it's a breeze to change. Has anyone had experience with this? I wil be using the Monroe shocks on all four corners.

Re: Tahoe shocks

I did the shocks on my 97 yukon 4x4, used rancho 5000's, about 2 months ago, and it was a breeze to do sept for the freak rain/snow storm... I used air tools for it but even with hand tools it would have been easy.. the worst part of them was on the left rear shock, the sway bar was in the way for the bolt to come out, but when i finaly got it out , put it in the oppisite * right * way... you can sooo tell from factory the sway bar goes on after the shocks... Good luck man...
