sounds like your pcm is throwing every code in the book. Try resetting the computer. That would be easier if i knew what car you drive but the universal way is to dissconnect the battery but thats a pain in the ass with the clock and the radio code. So if you have a gt or gtp simply push the yellow button under the driverside dash if you have a se then turn the ignition to acc and fully press the gas pedal down three times and then start the car.

It is a 97 grandprix se 3800,and I have tried the reset button under my dash and that helps my abs trac off and check tire lights for about 45-50 k then they come back on and now at a stop my rpms range from 600-1100 rpms SOMETIMES.

Little yellow button??
I keep hearing about this but I've looked under there and don't see it.
How little is it?

If you have the 3100 engine you don't have it or if you drive a 96 or older you don't have it.

Thanx, its a 99/3800.
I'll look again. The reason I'm wondering is I have to change the MAF sensor and have to reset the computer.
Is pushing the button all I have to do or do I have to diconect the battery?

Re: info centre light,abs,trac off,check tire,engine,seat belt
I thought all pushing the yellow button did was reset the Driver Info center on cars equipped with the optional trip computer. To reset the PCM you need to disconnect the battery or clear the codes with a code reader/scanner
