I need help finding the cause of OBD code P0507 Idle RPM higher than expected. I have replaced the Idle Control Valve and do not get the message on the highway only on short trips. I have also replaced some of the convient vacum lines. The vehicle seems to idle a bit high. can any of you more experienced than I help me with this

Check for a vacuum leak causing the higher idle.

I will check for vacum leaks today. I changed the Throttle Control Sensor yesterday it seemed that the throttle washigh when stopping I am going to drive it today to see if that helped.
Thanks I will let you know how it worked

Besides the vacuum hoses, also check for a leak at the upper plenium gasket. Make sure the the hose going to the air inlet duct behind the throttle body is connected.
