Sand Blasting a 38 Chevy P/UStreet Surfers 04-21-2005, 03:13 PM :banghead: Ok GT,, it looks like you might be just the 1 here to answer ALL my questions,,LOL.. my 1st question is on sandblasting Yes or No.. I just bought a 1938 Chevy P/U.. its alittle rough in the rust department. Its a little bit like painting, so if the pressure seems to high or too low then change the pressure. Walnut shells would be best since they are soft and wont damage the metal as much as it does to the paint. Street Surfers 04-21-2005, 08:02 PM Thank you... Sand should be sprayed at 100-120, walnuts at around 70. Sorry, wasnt thinking straight.
