How to Replace rotors and padsracerbg 04-20-2005, 03:31 PM does anyone have a write-up on how to replace the front brake pads and rotors on a 2002 jeep grand cherokee? mx52nv 04-20-2005, 03:37 PM oh my, you really need instructions on a brake job? take the wheel off, remove the caliper bolts, remove old pads and rotors, replace in reverse order. and it helps to have a large C-clamp to compress the caliper piston. don't forget to use the caliper grease to maintain proper caliper release. it's very easy, shouldn't take more than an hour to do both sides. racerbg 04-20-2005, 04:08 PM Thanks.... Do you know the size of the lug nuts? hulkmn069 04-20-2005, 04:33 PM 19mm for the lug nuts 6mm hex if memory serves for the caliper bolts mx52nv 04-20-2005, 05:01 PM Oh my goodness, do you not have a lug wrench or 4-way for your car???? racerbg 04-20-2005, 08:22 PM Thank you everyone for all your help.
