whats a better stock Motor? Reddy Rage type R, or MVP?

I have both motors and I wanted to find out which was a better motor, because if you look at just the dyno numbers, the MVp seems to be a better motor all around. I did the test in the road in my dad condo yesterday when it was porbaly 85-90 degrees. I put duct tape down on the ground to make sure i started and stopped timing in the same places. Besides checking the time i checked the speed with a hobby radar machine. I did the test in my HPI RS4 MT, an electric 4 wheel drive onster truck with a trinity 2000 pack and a Tekin Rebel speed control.
Here is my times and speed over about 30 feet were:
Rage 16 tooth pinion/96 spur=2.54 seconds, 17 mph
Rage 22 tooth pinion/96 spur=2.65 seconds, 17 mph
MVP 16 tooth/96 spur=2.81 seconds, 17 mph
MVP 22 tooth/96 spur=2.56 seconds, 18 mph
It turns out, it depends on what type of gear ratio you need as to which is the better motor. The Rage likes a higher gear ratio while the MVP likes a lower gear ratio. If anyone is interesed in seeing the dyno numbers on either motor, just ask and ill find them for you.
