Final Fantasy Series
Final Fantasy 1 is a good game, for nintendo, same with final fantasy 2 and 3. When you get up to 5 and 6 the graphics get good and the story lines are a lot better. Final Fantsay 7 is one of the best of the series. If you have some input on any of the final fantasy games please write.

I love playing them. I am currently trying to finish Final Fantasy 6 for the SNES. I bought it used 6 months ago and finally started playing it again. I also have FFX, but am not real far in it. I agree with you when you said 7 is one of the best in the series. It had everything.

I like 5 better
Final Fantasy 5 I think is a better game than 6. I only have played a little of 6 but it wasn't as intriging as 5. Plus in five you get different jobs and stuff. When you played 7 did you play the mini games they are the best.

I have never played 5. I know it came with Final Fantasy Anthology for the Playstation, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere. I think I have a ff5 rom on my computer, but I haven't got into it yet.
I have beat ff7 about 5 times. I have pretty much mastered the game. I even tried a "no materia" game. I got all the way to the final Hojo and quit. It is possible to do. Other than that, I have played all the mini games and beat all the weapons.
Have you tried FF Tactics?

It sounds good
It sounds like you really like thoughs games I can only beat a game once or twice before I get bored. I didn't beat all the weapons in FF7 but I beat a couple. You should try 5 though it's really good. Have you played 8 yet??

Yeah, I just finished 8 a couple months ago. I have only replayed 7. The others I didn't really care about playing again.

7 is always different
The good reason for playing 7 is that it is different almost every time finding new things and stuff. 8 and others are not different though. Number 5 is you should try that one.

I just started 5 over the weekend. I am just past the place with the shipwrecks. What is a good combination of job classes to have? So far I have a thief, knight, black wizard, and white wizard.

Just Experiment
All you have to do is try out new combinations. I always make sure I have a strong attaker and a magic caster. Other than that it's up to you and a summoner works good.

What is your problem
It's your opion if you don't like the game. A lot of people have spare time so they play those types of games. I don't have a car, because I don't have my G2 yet. If you don't like the game and are just going to make fun of it they stay off of this thread. Final Fantasy games are good games to play, and are good to excape from reality. So if your interested in cars and not in games then stay off of these threads.

Calling me a loser, eh?
Well anyway, I don't think anything needs to be said to protect or back the FF franchise, since the rest of the world has already agreed that it is an undeniable success. Anyone who doesn't agree is simply part of a fleeting minority.
On another note, FF3 for the SNES (which is which number in Japan?) is my favorite. It really revolutionized the lineage bringing forward a deep story, until that is Square's beef with Nintendo forced them to move to Sony. Then it set the standard with a 3D world. I for one, am anxiously waiting for FFXI Online to launch.

Morpheus, I'm not sure about the numbers, but I know some of them are different. I think the US version of 3 is 6 in Japan.
I am still deciding whether FF XI will be worth it. I mean you will have to pay for the game, PS2 modem, monthly subscription, and probably more. I have never played an online RPG so I don't know what to expect when it comes out.
