Well...Im finally ready to put in my turbo after buying parts for about 9 months now. But, I was just told today that I should get some adjustable cam gears put in. Now do I NEED them or are they just good to have. I would like to know ASAP so I can order next day delivery.

ok depends, do you plan on running multiple boost levels ? do you have aftermarket cams or stock cams ?

Even with stock cams you can see some very nice gains dialing them in with gears.

Im gonna stay at 7psi for a while and i have stock cams.

on stock cams adjustable cam gears will get you more power so you just gotta tune them to the right time. but the gains may not be worth the costs.
