Location of OBDII port

Where is the OBDII port located on a 2003 Sebring Convertible? I'm getting a airbag sensor light that intermittently comes on after startup, until I hit a bump. Thanks in advance for any help

Re: Location of OBDII port

Under the dash on the driver side near the center console. I'd have that car into dealer assuming you still have warranty.

I found the port. There is some misleading info on an online manual site for my car, showing the port on the passenger's side. The port is hiding behind a gray pressboard cover that extends below the driver's side dash cover. You have to pop the gray cover off to get to the port. I also found out that Chrysler uses a special port to diagnose the airbag, and that this problem has been around since 2001. It also appears that the fix is to replace the seat belt sensor. This last time the air bag light does not go out when I run over the lane bump strips. Usually the light goes out after a few days, but not this time. I'm hoping it stays on so I can go to the dealer and show them. Thanks for your reply
