I want a trans flush on my '00 galant. What is the reasonable price for labor and parts? Is opening the pan recommended?
Sorry for the dumb question, but this is my first auto trans car.

Be very careful of who and what type of fluid is used. You could void your warranty.. must use 3 diamond type III from dealer. There is a drain plug on the transaxel and the book said about 5.5 qts. I'm doing mine tomorrow. Ouch 4.99/qt

how many miles u got on tranny..if it has a lot of miles DONT CHANGE THE FLUID.while changing gears pieces of the tranny like sorta tend to fall out..like little things and they end up in the fluid.they help it changing gears though so unless it has low miles dont change.your better off keeping it normal cause it will perform better
