1999 Plymouth Gv Speedmonitor/trans.

1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager Speed Monitor Quit Working. At Same Time Trans. Will Not Shift Out Of Low Gear. I Drove It Around Block And Engine Service Soon Light Came On. What Is Going On With This?

you require an output speed sensor.you have two but this one is closest
to thr driverside tire.

I replaced the output speed sensor myself. It was a snap. I picked up a pictorial of trans. and new sensor from dealership. Parts department guy was very helpful. It took 10 min to replace. $25 compared to $168 in shop. Thanks to rebuilder for advice on what was wrong.
