anyone here from New England?ZackKVtec 04-05-2005, 10:16 AM Whos going up to epping saturday May 21st... First imports day of the year, I'm psyked. drftk1d 04-05-2005, 10:50 AM i thought segregation was ended in the 1960's? :dunno: -Josh- 04-05-2005, 10:55 AM nope...most import people hate domestive people and vice versa...probably always be like that to chevytrucks92 04-05-2005, 11:45 AM nope...most import people hate domestic people and vice versa...probably always be like that to Well, can't argue with that, but I'd still go to the track if I wanted to if I had an import! I know where I race, you see anything racing in the trophy class! RedKneck's "super fast" E-Series Van wouldn't even be out of place (well, he probably would have the only Van, lol, but he could still race and the fans and drivers-or atleast I would-would get a kick out of it). ZackKVtec 04-05-2005, 04:26 PM haha, you guys are basket cases, i just like seeing all the fast imports, and i know what those god damn domestics can do in a straight line.... also, how out of place would i look if i went on a domestic day... haha, look ive got an FI 4 cylinder, they'd laugh at me Thourun 04-05-2005, 11:16 PM I live in NE, whats this thing your talking about? ZackKVtec 04-06-2005, 12:05 AM New England dragway, they have a couple of saturdays set up stricly for imports. I went once last year, it was pretty good shite. and for like 25 bucks you get to run as many times as you can, i ran 4 times last year. the only downside is the long ass wait, also when i went last year it was blistering hot at the dragway, but i didnt want to run my ac and heat up my car any more than i had to, so i just sat there with windows open and sweated. chevytrucks92 04-06-2005, 12:21 AM when i went last year it was blistering hot at the dragway, but i didnt want to run my ac and heat up my car any more than i had to, so i just sat there with windows open and sweated. You wouldn't want to do that anyways. That would just cuase water to drip from the air conditioner and get on the track. That's one of the big things they stress where I race. Street cars can not run their a/c anytime. And I think its kinda dumb to have import only shows, or domestic only shows. I mean I think you should get to race whatever you have whenever the track is open. And that goes for Super Chevy and Fun Ford shows as well (even though I'd love to go to a Super Chevy!) I don't really thinks it's a big deal becuase every Weds & Friday it's street night open to anyone. During the week they just run different events. On the weekends there is a lot of local bracket/heads up racing classes and T&T sessions. As far as FFW and SuperChevy I like having them and that they are seperate. The car racing is whateva I don't care if it's Stang vs. Stang or Camaro vs. Stang it's all cool to watch but I like that every vendor spot at these shows is catering to my car. chevytrucks92 04-08-2005, 12:15 PM Well you see, where I'm from, the tracks are usually only open on Friday and Saturday, so that's why I say race what you got. I could see it on a track that opens up during the week for street cars only and such. To be honest, I wish the tracks around me wouldn't even have a Trophy class (or street cars only) class on the race night. It would be better IMO if they just had the top two Bracket classes run on that night. I think there is actually one track kinda close to me that does this. I think they run the trophy classes on Friday, and then the top two bracket classes on SAturday. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
