bore to 2.0L or stick with 1.8L with turbo

i am using aebs sleeves, wiesco pistons and eagle h beam rods, i was wondering if i should bore it to a 2.0 or just leave it a 1.8. i want to boost about 15-18psi around 350hp. would the walls be too thin and be unsafe? whats the pros and cons of both?

the bigger the bore, the less psi it takes to get to your goal. why did you sleeve your motor for only 350whp ? stock sleeves can handle that

i sleeved it because i boosted it b4 and it cracked the sleeves, i plan on more power just waiting for the ecu and the fuel supply. how many hp should my set up handle safely and reliable? i want to use a little nitrous with the turbo too.

Jojo's old race car ran into the 9's and made 600+ WHP on eagles. Lots of people make over 500 WHP on eagles, both in Hondas and DSM's. I know Brad Tyson is running into the 7's at over 180 MPH in a 3200 pound car, turning 9000 RPM's in an 8 cylinder car running Eagle H-beam rods. 3200 pounds at 180 MPH is roughly 1700 horsepower, they can take power.

eagle themselves dont recommend anything about 450whp, just quoting what they said

if you bore to 84mm (roughly 2L) then dont screw anything up because you wont have much left to safely re-bore it out.

Click Me

430 WHP @ 14 psi
605 WHP @ 27 psi

81.5mm, 9:1 compression, unported head, SC61. You don't need a big bore to make sick power. Eagle rods too
